WELCOME
This web site is designed to give you an insight into the world of Andrew Keeping. Since his Dad took him, at the age of 5, to see Andres Segovia perform at Brent Town Hall, Andrew fell in love with the magical sounds a wooden box with strings could produce. From that day, there was never a question that he would ever pursue any other career. Andrew is lucky to do what he loves most in life for a living. He has been performing for the past 30 years and teaching for 20. In all of that time he has visited some of the greatest cities in the world, met some fascinating characters, taught hundreds of students, worked with some of the most outstanding musicians in the business and made some great friends along the way. Andrew hopes to continue "educating the uninitiated to the joys and versatility of the guitar!" |

One of the greats, sadly missed!
Andrew attended the funeral of dear friend, colleague and fellow guitarist Richard Hand. His gifted life was cut short prematurely at the end of March 2011. All the great and the good attended the funeral in Essex, UK. A testament to the respect felt towards one of the guitar world's much loved, hugely intelligent, witty and gifted guitarists. Richard will be sorely missed.
